BETA TERMS · EFFECTIVE AUGUST 8, 2026
Use Oracle with authority, review, and owner judgment.
These working beta terms describe the current product boundaries. By using Oracle, you agree to connect only Discord accounts and servers you are authorized to manage and to review every proposed operation before approval.
1. The service
DisplayState for Discord provides Discord configuration planning, new-server setup, existing-server audits, private reports, narrow approval-gated remediation, and scheduled configuration audits. Features may change during beta and may be unavailable, incomplete, or removed.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to accept these terms and authorized to connect the Discord account and administer each selected server. Do not use Oracle to inspect, alter, disrupt, or obtain information about a server without permission.
3. Account and credentials
You are responsible for protecting your Identity and Discord sessions, maintaining accurate authorizations, and notifying the operator of suspected compromise. Do not share bot tokens, OAuth tokens, refresh cookies, or encryption keys with Oracle support or in public reports.
4. Audits are decision support
Oracle reports are based only on supported configuration available at the time of a run. The Oracle rubric is a versioned product rubric, not an industry certification, guarantee of security, legal assessment, or complete review of the server. You must read coverage and limitations alongside the score.
5. Changes to Discord
Improve audits are read-only. A change occurs only after a user selects supported findings, reviews a generated plan, selects exact operations, and approves execution. You remain responsible for deciding whether each target matches the server’s needs and for checking the resulting Discord configuration.
Oracle currently supports narrow guild-safety and Oracle-owned AutoMod changes in Improve mode. Role, channel, member, and integration findings may require manual owner work. The pre-change evidence snapshot is not a promise of automatic full-server rollback.
6. Prohibited use
- Accessing or changing a Discord server without authorization.
- Using Oracle to violate Discord’s terms, law, privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights.
- Attempting to bypass authentication, tenant isolation, rate limits, or approval controls.
- Introducing malware, scraping private reports, probing other accounts, or disrupting the service.
- Misrepresenting an Oracle score as a security certification or behavioral audit.
7. Free beta and future plans
The current beta, including scheduled configuration monitoring, is offered without billing. Free access does not create a promise that a feature will remain free. Any future paid plan will require separate pricing and purchase terms before a charge occurs.
8. Your exports and feedback
You may use your normalized report exports for internal server administration and may share them at your discretion. You are responsible for recipients and any sensitive configuration details in an export. If you provide feedback, the operator may use it to improve Oracle without an obligation to pay you.
9. Third-party services
DisplayState depends on Discord, the configured Identity service, Railway, PostgreSQL, and internet infrastructure. Their outages, policy changes, authorization rules, and rate limits can affect DisplayState. DisplayState is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The beta is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No uninterrupted operation, complete finding set, successful Discord write, notification delivery, automatic restore, or fitness for a specific server is promised. Do not rely on Oracle as the sole control for emergencies, moderation, anti-raid protection, backups, or legal compliance.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, Discord, the service, or legal compliance, including for unauthorized or abusive use. You may stop using Oracle and disable monitoring. Existing record deletion is not yet self-service; see the privacy notice.
12. Contact and document completeness
A formal contact has not been configured for this deployment. The operator must set SITE_SUPPORT_EMAIL, identify the contracting operator, choose governing law, and obtain appropriate legal review before a broad commercial launch.
